Thank you for visiting my space to show off my creative work. In short, my art is simply an outside expression of my love of color, design, illustration, movement, and organic images inspired by nature, femininity and a love of using different types of mediums and materials. My skills have been developed through the years from a combination of hard-work , perserverance, an exposure to many amazing artists through mentorship, alot of experimentation and teaching for over 20 years.

I have always found art to be meditative. Since drawing is a right function of the brain, it allows us to shut off the thinking and forces us to “be in the "moment” and in the “flow state”. When we are truly present and learn to appreciate what is around us by really truly seeing things, that is the real gift of living and art has taught me that. I teach my high school students this concept in hopes to show them how to deplug from their technology and just “be” in the present.

I’m a self-taught artist and have been performing since a young age. I started performing speed paintings in 2016 and have performed at Disney Downtown, LegoLand, San Diego Zoo, National Geographic Corporate and other corporate events. Although I do not perform as much anymore, I enjoy being a teacher of art and am very fulfilled bringing it to other people’s lives either in the classroom,my paint kits or my teaching lesson plans, all available online.

I currently teach Painting, Drawing and Design, and AP Studio Art in Del Mar, CA.
