Monet for a Day

I teach art at the high school level in Del Mar, San Diego at Torrey Pines High school and I just love Halloween as an excuse to get creative and dress up for the kids. I usually dress up as something art related so I can taylor the lesson for the day based on something educational. This year I chose to paint myself like a “Monet” painting. I have a background in makeup artistry so painting myself is always fun. I researched all my favorite Monet paintings and then used the Procreate art program to superimpose myself into the paintings. In Procreate you can use acrylic and oil paint digital brushes to really get the effect that I am painted.

The richness I achieve comes from nature, the source of my inspiration.
